President's Message

Greetings on behalf of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Decatur-DeKalb Chapter, Incorporated! Located in Dekalb County, NC100BW Decatur-Dekalb, Inc. has served as a community change agent for over 30 years. NC100BW, continues to impart transformational changes through our programs in the community.

Established in 1981, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Incorporated, was founded by 24 women who through continuous efforts and persistency became a national organization, advocating for the rights of African American females. The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Incorporated has grown to over 60 chapters throughout the United States.

Chartered in 1989, the Decatur-Dekalb Chapter, is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to continuously advocate for African American women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment. Members of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Decatur-DeKalb Chapter, Inc. reside within Dekalb County and take great pride in serving the community in which we live. Our vision is to see black women and girls live in a world where socio-economic inequity does not exist. In addition to focusing on our mission, our commitment in 2022, is to continue advocating beyond the local level, increase Member Engagement and maximize Community Partnership.
